The Facility expects to have 144 full-time employees, hire contractors in the local community, and create economic stimulus and economic multiplier effects in the region
LCM is working with local educational institutions, including SOWELA Technical Community College and McNeese State University to develop job training and employment opportunities
LCM is committed to strong community engagement that will maintain a collaborative exchange of information and maximize benefits to local residents
Estimated $5 billion capital investment creating over 18,000 jobs
LCM represents a $5+ billion capital investment ($3.2 billion hard cost) near Lake Charles; $1.5 billion of benefit is expected to remain entirely within the Louisiana economy
During its over three years of construction, the Project will create over $2.3 billion of total economic impact and over 16,000 jobs
Over the first five years of operations, the Project will create an additional $598 million in new Louisiana economic activity and over 2,100 more jobs
